Ecological Concerns Project

$3.00

Description

Throughout this no-prep project, students assume the role of an ecologist as they research an ecological concern such as endangered species, species extinction, saving rainforests, wildlife conservation, pollution, global climate change, energy conservation, waste management, invasive species, poaching, etc. Students are provided with a data collection worksheet, which will help guide their research. Thereafter, they will present their research to their peers in the form of a PowerPoint Presentation. They will be expected to create a set of guided notes and challenge questions to accompany their presentation. Finally, they will create an educational video highlighting the research on their ecological concern.

A detailed rubric is included, which sets clear expectations for the students and eases the grading process for teachers.
