Looking for a hands-on activity in which students investigate geologic time?

This lab is intended to take approximately 60 minutes and requires students to construct a model illustrating some previous geologic events and to compare the length of human’s existence to the span of geologic time.

Materials:

• Cash register tape
• ESRT

This resource includes an answer key as well.
