Description

This presentation focuses on how we characterize different types of volcanoes.

Students learn what volcanoes are, how they form, where they are located on our planet, what determines the explosivity of a volcano, the anatomy of a volcano, and the different types of volcanoes.

The presentation is estimated to take approximately 20 minutes of class time. Guided notes are included for students to fill in while listening to and following along with the presentation.
