This no-prep project is a creative and fun assignment in which students investigate the geological processes responsible for shaping unique and often eerie landscapes around the world.

Students examine the connection between natural geological phenomena, such as erosion, volcanic activity, and weathering, and the legends, myths, and ghost stories associated with these landscapes.

Students enhance their research and critical thinking skills by gathering information from diverse sources and effectively present their findings to their peers.

A detailed rubric is included, which sets clear expectations for the students and eases the grading process for teachers.
